The Story
MaXXXine is the sequel to the 2022 horror film X, which follows Maxine Minx, an adult film star who aspires to become a legitimate actress. However, her dreams of stardom are soon threatened by a sinister force that threatens to destroy everything.
The Production
MaXXXine was written and directed by Ti West, who also directed X. The film was produced by Little Lamb, the same production company behind X. Principal photography took place from April to June 2023.
The Release Date
MaXXXine is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 5, 2024. The film will be distributed by A24.
