Mavericks Reach Final Four Again

Nationally ranked at 2 the 29-2 Minnesota State Mavericks mens basketball claimed its first conference title in a decade after a 74-67 win over St. Cloud State in Sioux Falls, S.D. last Saturday night and has advanced to the NCAA Final Four for the second time in program history. The Mavericks will take the court in Evansville, Ind. on Tuesday night against 9th-ranked Bellarmine at the Ford Center. Tip-off is set for approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Mavericks, who have won 14 of their last 15 games, are just the second team in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference history to win the regular-season and tournament championships in the same season. MSU has not lost since Feb. 11.
