Boston Celtics Vs Dallas Mavericks

NBA Finals: Celtics Start Strong, Lead Mavericks at Halftime

Mavs Face Uphill Battle

Boston Dominates First Half of Game 1

The Boston Celtics have taken an early lead in the NBA Finals, dominating the first half of Game 1 against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. The Celtics currently lead by 21 points, with a score of 63-42 at halftime.

Boston has been led by Kris Tapers, who has already scored 18 points in his return from injury. Jason Tatum and Marcus Smart have also made strong contributions for the Celtics, with 15 and 13 points respectively.

The Mavericks, meanwhile, have struggled to keep pace with the Celtics. Luke Doncic, the reigning NBA MVP, has been held to just 10 points on 3-of-12 shooting. Kristaps Porzingis has also been held in check, scoring just 12 points.

The Mavericks will need to make some adjustments in the second half if they want to get back into this game. They need to find a way to slow down the Celtics' offense and get their own offense going. If they can't, the Celtics could very well run away with this game and take a commanding lead in the series.
