Klopp wants to get 'beautiful' Liverpool poster signed by Virgil Van Dijk
Reds boss admits he made 'strange' request to Dutchman - and jokes he wants it 'for his bathroom'
Jurgen Klopp has revealed he asked Virgil Van Dijk to sign a Liverpool poster - and joked that he wants to put it in his bathroom.
The Reds boss made the request after seeing a photo of Van Dijk posing with a huge poster of himself at the club's AXA Training Centre.
Klopp said: "I saw a picture of Virgil standing in front of a big poster of himself and I thought, 'Wow, that's a really beautiful picture'.
'I want to put it in my bathroom'
"So I went to him and said, 'Virgil, can you sign that for me?' He was like, 'Why?'
"I said, 'Because I want to put it in my bathroom'."
Klopp was joking, of course, but he did admit that he is a big fan of the poster.
"It's a really nice picture," he said.
"It's a great photo of a great player." Full story: Klopp wants to get 'beautiful' Liverpool poster signed by Virgil Van Dijk
