Valorant Ranking System

Everything You Need to Know

Reaching Radiant is Only the Beginning

The highest overall rank in VALORANT is Radiant, but reaching Radiant is only part of the test to prove you're the best. Here's everything you need to know about Valorant ranks going into June 2023, including Act rank distribution and how to earn a rank.

Valorant Ranks and Tiers

Valorant's ranked system is fairly straightforward. There are 9 different ranks that you can achieve:

  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Ascendant
  • Immortal
  • Radiant

All VALORANT ranks except for Radiant have three different tiers. The larger number means the closer you are to the next rank.

How to Earn a Rank

To earn a rank in VALORANT, you need to play ranked matches and win. The more games you win, the higher your rank will be. You can also earn rank points by completing daily and weekly missions.

Act Rank Distribution

The Act rank distribution shows how many players are in each rank at the end of each Act. The distribution is typically bell-shaped, with most players in the middle ranks. The percentage of players in each rank is as follows:

  • Iron: 12%
  • Bronze: 20%
  • Silver: 25%
  • Gold: 22%
  • Platinum: 12%
  • Diamond: 5%
  • Ascendant: 2%
  • Immortal: 1%
  • Radiant: 0.1%
