Sabalenka Defeats Close Friend to Reach Fourth Round

Aryna Sabalenka continued her quest for a first French Open title by fighting past best friend Paula Badosa to reach the fourth round of the tournament. The No. 3 seed from Belarus won the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, despite losing the first set and trailing 4-1 in the second set. Sabalenka will face No. 15 seed Victoria Azarenka in the next round.
